Q&A: The Aquadolls on Their Latest Album ‘Charmed’ — The Luna Collective

SOMETHING CHARMING THIS WAY COMES — when, earlier this month, The Aquadolls released their junior album, “Charmed.” The band, composed of Melissa Brooks (lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist), Keilah Nina (bassist), and Jacqueline Proctor (drummer), stayed true to their femme-punk roots, taking heavy inspiration from ’90s grunge and the late ’90s TV show Charmed to make the magic that takes the form of their third album.

The album was brewed with nodes of self-love and nostalgia, highlighting

REVIEW: Taylor Swift Shakes Things Up With The Eras Tour in Tampa, FL — The Luna Collective

WE’RE ALL IN AN ERA — and sometimes we’re all in the same one at the same time, especially if you attend one of Taylor Swift’s 52 The Eras Tour shows.

As a 21-year-old woman, I am constantly reflecting on my past “eras.” More times than not, these reflections come with an inflicting feeling of nostalgia, longing, and Taylor Swift songs.

Not only am I an incredibly sentimental person who thinks about the past a little too much, I am an incredibly sentimental person who has seen Taylor Swift on

Q&A: The Hails Bring Their Tour to Orlando, FL — The Luna Collective

LUNA: What city are you most excited to play in?

KINGSLEY: I’m oddly excited to play Oklahoma City. I had a weird dream/vision about us playing in Oklahoma City. We're staying in a hotel and I just have this snapshot in my head of us sitting at a hotel bar waiting to play our show, which makes no sense because I don't really know that we'll be in a hotel. I'm kind of excited for that because of that vision. It's about to come to fruition.

SOLARI: That was also my answer, [Oklahoma City] … In t

Q&A: It’s Summer All Year Long as Sun Room Discusses Their Latest EP ‘Outta Their Minds' — The Luna Collective

LUNA: “Cadillac” was the first out of two singles to be released before the EP. Why did you choose “Cadillac” to set the precedent for Outta Their Minds?

ASGIAN: This EP was a return to our roots in loud, fast garage rock, and “Cadillac” happened to be the loudest and fastest of the project. It also just felt the most different from all the other music that’s coming out of the music industry right now. A lot of music nowadays is quite polished, and “Cadillac” sure isn’t.

LUNA: Both “Cadillac”

Review: The Backseat Lovers Perform ‘Waiting to Spill’ in Atlanta — The Luna Collective

I FIND MYSELF WAITING TO SPILL IN MOST ASPECTS OF MY LIFE — I’m always anticipating what will come next and when that “next” will take place. Whether that spill is messy or controlled, I feel intense anxiety over the future. When The Backseat Lovers released their sophomore album Waiting to Spill on Oct. 28, I knew it would be an album that makes you melt into your driver’s seat — and I was right. As I listened to the album in full, it felt weirdly personal, as if the band took inspiration from

RUNNING THE MARATHON, FLORIDA-BASED BAND — flipturn, composed of frontman Dillon Basse, bassist Madeline Jarman, lead guitarist Tristan Duncan, guitarist and synth player Mitch Fountain, and drummer Devon VonBalson, has learned that most things in life aren’t a sprint, they’re a marathon. The current marathon in question? A 58-show tour across North America to showcase their debut album, Shadowglow. The band’s two-year project was released back in August and was the start of an unprecedented sec

Q&A: Shy Martin on Latest Single “wish I didn’t know you" — The Luna Collective

LUNA: How would you describe the “bubble” that you have been living in for the past year? How has that bubble molded you into the person you are right now?

SHY: I’ve only been focusing on my own music, working with the same people — Fanny Hultman, Kerstin Ljungström, and my brother Hampus Hjellström — keeping the circle small. I’ve intentionally taken a step back from the “music business” to completely focus on enjoying the process of creating without being distracted. This has allowed me to cr

Q&A: Christian Leave on Maturing His Sound Through Tour & New Single “Why Not?” — The Luna Collective

STRAYING AWAY FROM HIS REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING — Chrisitan Akridge, better known as Christian Leave, has made his return to the alternative-indie scene after not releasing any new music in the past year. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, Leave is hitting the ground running with his newly “matured” sound, as seen amongst the release of his latest single, “Why Not?”

The singer-songwriter signed with Warner Records in 2018 and said that both he and his sound have evolved since the begin

Photo Diary : Never Not Amazed - Praying To The Aliens — The Luna Collective

Women are devised from another dimension and sent to earth to be worshiped in complete fidelity. A woman is as electric as a supernova. Captivating and powerful, you cannot shift your eyes away from her or shake her presence from your veins. Never Not Amazed - Praying To The Aliens is a visual representation of how it feels to put your faith in an asphyxiating extraterrestrial being: a woman.

A photographic collection by Canadian contemporary artists Abigail Claire and Emily Madeline, Never Not
